Pea and Bacon Layered Salad





Dressing
  • 1/3 c. sour cream
  • 2 tbsp. red wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp. milk
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
Layer next ingredients glass bowl
  • 1 (10 ounce.) pkg. frozen peas, thawed
  • 3/4 c. water chestnuts, sliced
  • 3 T. green onion, sliced fine
  • 1/4 c. cashew or slivered almonds
  • 2 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
Mix dressing until creamy. Spread over pea salad. Cover and chill.
Toss and serve.
