Cherry Nut Cake


1 can cherry pie filling
2 c. cake flour
1 c. sugar
1 1/2t. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
Mix together and sprinkle over pie filling.

2 eggs beaten
2/3 c. cooking oil
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. nuts
Mix and pour over second layer

Stir all together
Bake in moderate oven at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
Frosting

1 c. sugar
1/2c. sour cream
1/2t. soda

Bring to a boil and pour over cake. Sprinkle with ¼ c. nuts and cherries of you like.
