Strawberry, Pineapple, Banana Nut Salad

·        ·         2 pkg. strawberry Jello
·         2 c. hot water
·         2 pkg. partially thawed strawberries with juice
·         1 20 oz. can drained crushed pineapple undrained
·         3  ripe bananas (mashed)
·         1 c. chopped nuts
·         2 c. sour cream 
·         1 1/2 c. sugar
·         1 1/4 t. vanilla 
Pour Jello into hot water and dissolve completely. Add strawberries, pineapple, banana and nuts. Pour ½ of mixture into 13x9x2 glass dish and chill until firm about 30 min. Spoon sour cream onto congealed. Pour on remaining gelatin and fruit and chill overnight.
Cut in squares and serve on a leaf of lettuce. Garnish with a dollop of  Cool Whip or sour cream and a whole strawberry cut in half.
