$100 Chocolate Cake




½ cup butter
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
4 squares of  unsweetened chocolate
1 ½ cups sweet milk
2 cups cake flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
Pinch of salt
2 teaspoon vanilla
1cup pecans

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Stir baking powder and salt  into flour and add alternately with the sweet milk. Beat well.

 Add well beaten eggs to cake mixture. Melt the chocolate over hot water and add with vanilla and nuts. Bake in a well greased tube pan for 1 hour 15 min. at 325.

Icing
½ c butter
1 egg
1 ½ c. powdered sugar
2 squares unsweetened chocolate
1 t. vanilla
1 c. pecans

Melt butter and chocolate over hot water. Remove from heat and add well beaten egg. Add sugar gradually and blend well. Add vanilla and nuts then mix well.
