1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs slightly beaten
2 c. plain flour
1 t. soda
1/2 t. salt 
Large can of Fruit Cocktail
1 t. vanilla
Bake in a sheet cake pan at 350 for
30-35 min. Ice while cake is hot.
Prepare Icing while cake is cooking.
1 stick margarine
1 cup sugar
1 cup evaporated
milk
 Cook for
10 minutes and stir in:  
1/2 c. coconut 
1 teaspoon vanilla 
1/2 cup pecans, chopped
